Commercial Director

Spectrum Regulatory Solutions is currently seeking a Commercial Director. You will be responsible for the strategic direction of the Company, through a combination of commercial awareness and in-depth experience of regulatory affairs in the global pharmaceutical environment. You will assist the Board of Directors in developing a strategic plan to realise the vision of the Company and to guide its development within the economic and legislative challenges facing the industry.

Engaging with your extensive network of peers and industry contacts, you will contribute to the shaping of the Company's service offering in line with current customer trends, and share in the identification, closure and delivery of new business contracts.

Experience

It is essential that you have experience of working in regulatory affairs at managerial/directorial level, but this experience should cover a broad range of disciplines from financial principles through to human resources and project management. You will be a strong strategic thinker, highly organised, persuasive and shrewd in personality, able to identify opportunities with the knowledge and experience to act instinctively and on your own judgement. Decisive, yet diplomatic, you will be an excellent communicator and negotiator, showing ability to engage and influence at all levels.

A background in the global pharmaceutical environment is preferred. Experience in outsourcing, bidding and contract management - either as a client or provider - would be an advantage.
