The Client…
- the UK division of a global corporation with headquarters in the US and Europe
- had to deliver three NICE submissions with overlapping timelines causing a shortage of experienced medical writing resource
- was looking to improve channels of communications between the internal stakeholders
…so what we did was…
- help the Client to plan the individual document draft stages, and soon became the process owner for document production
- free up the Client’s in-house team to focus on the economic argument development
- apportioned Spectrum resources to write, edit and QC the clinical evidence sections, to meet the overlapping timelines
- facilitate inter-departmental review and input, and reconcile differences in approach
- assemble and harmonise the clinical-, cost-effectiveness and budget impact sections of the submissions, and compile all Appendices and references
…and the outcome was…
- all three dossiers were submitted to NICE on time
- the Client went on to develop in-house processes for document production modelled on the approach taken by Spectrum
- Spectrum was recommended by the Client to other companies with needs in the preparation of HTA dossiers
